- (1/24/1940 Bronx- )(USA); aka Acconci, HannibalPoet, sculptor, action artist, photographer, videographer, performance artist, installation designer, and furniture designer. Studied at Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA and earned a M.F.A. at the University of Iowa. Started as a photographer, but moved to performances and installations in the 1960s and 1970s.
